About Us 
Twisted Willow Yarn is a small batch hand-dyed yarn company located by the beautiful Bay of Fundy, in New Brunswick Canada. Inspired by nature, vintage colour palettes and historical periods, we aim to supply knitters with very wearable colourways on luxurious ethically sourced yarn bases.  

 
Our Yarn  
Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches, using professional washfast acid dyes to ensure vivid colours that will last. We take great care and attention to detail to dye yarn that is subtly variegated throughout with no big pools or stripes of color. No two skeins are exactly alike. Each skein is truly unique so if you need more than one skein for your project, we recommend that you alternate skeins of the same colourway to ensure consistency. Please note that colours also vary, depending on the different base and fibre blend. Every skein has been soaked and rinsed prior to sale. 

We take great care to represent the true colors of our products by photographing them accurately. However, please keep in mind that all computer monitors have subtle differences and product representation may vary. 

Product Care 
Although superwash merino yarns may be gently washed by machine, we strongly recommend hand washing in cool water with your favourite wool wash. Lay flat to dry.  As with most hand dyed yarn, there may be a small amount of bleeding with the first soak/wash so we suggest washing your completed project separately from other garments when washing it for the first time
